14-22 June 2006. The third edition of this chamber music festival created by American violinist Robert McDuffie contains many novelties. First of all the venue: the beautifully frescoed Oratorio del Gonfalone with its excellent acoustics; but above all the programme that stars the famous Broadway soprano Marin Mazzie as well as a number of world class musicians from the US, Canada, Taiwan and Italy. On 15 June McDuffie himself holds an open masterclass. McDuffie has also expressed the wish to render chamber music accessible to all, and prices have been lowered considerably, especially for students. Oratorio del Gonfalone, Via del Gonfalone 32a.
