15 June-31 July 2006. The festival presents a line-up of prestigious international names in the world of rock music. Big names to look out for include Depeche Mode and Franz Ferdinand (17 July), Massive Attack (21 July) and Sean Paul (24 July). But the festival also acts as a launchpad for up and coming rock artists and has a special section called ROMAROCK@EMERGENTI for four groups without a record contract selected by the music magazine Freequency. All concerts, except that of Depeche Mode (Stadio Olimpico), take place at the Ippodoromo delle Cappanelle, Via Appia Nuova 1245.
