8 April-29 May 2005. This increasingly successful and rich festival spreads throughout the city with over 70 photo exhibitions, more or less all of them touching on this years theme: Oriented. Public and private museums and galleries host exhibitions that investigate the many different realities about the orient, from relationships with the west, the enlarged European Union and the effects of globalisation. Protagonists are many great photographers, the Indian Raghu Rai, the Chinese Shao Yinong & Mu Chen, the Swede Anders Petersen and many others.
