On 24 October the Italian Touring Club will celebrate its 110th anniversary with festivities in some of the most important squares in 26 cities throughout Italy. All over the country the TCI will set up stands to welcome its members and to enrol new ones, and to provide guided tours of the monuments in each square. There will also be concerts, theatrical productions, exhibitions, folkloristic displays and markets.

In Rome the celebrations will take place in Piazza Farnese and will consist of guided tours, a concert by the Italian navy band in the morning and a display of traditional flag throwing in the afternoon. For information tel. 0636005281.
