What to do in Rome in June 2019

Rome welcomes June after a soggy May, when many outdoor events were cancelled due to the rain. With a bit of luck June in Rome will be its warm and sunny self and we can all enjoy the wealth of events on offer - many of them happening outdoors. Here is our list of things to do in June, one for each day.

1 June. Head to the Aventine hill this morning for a rare tour inside the Villa of the Knights of Malta.

2 June. Rome commemorates Festa della Repubblica with a military parade and free city museums.
3 June. Try an aloe cocktail on the beach at the kiosk of Fregene hot spot La Baia.

4 June. Car afficianados should check out the Police Car museum in the Tor Marancia suburb. 
5 June. Visit the Anglo American Bookshop near the Spanish Steps for a wide range of books in English.
