27 Feb-1 March 2009. For the last ten years the feast day has been remembered with particular insistence on the music of Welsh composers of the 20th century. This year and last have been dedicated to the music of Mervyn Burtch, whose orchestral pieces, string quartets and choral works reach out to new audiences, particularly children. Works for the celebrations have been commissioned by Musica Rediviva.
