Sound Foundation charity fundraiser

An international charity fundraiser takes place at La Città dell'Altra Economia in Testaccio on the evening of Friday 5 July.

The event is being organised to raise money for Sound Foundation, a charity that aims to provide music education and industry opportunities to disadvantaged young people around the developing world.

There will be live bands, djs and documentary screenings at the pleasant outdoor venue. The line-up comprises Sandro Joyeux from Paris, The Directorate from Copenhagen, and Hotflush from Berlin.

Organisers, all of whom are Rome-based and connected to UN agencies, predict the evening will be one of Rome's biggest international events this summer.

The event takes place from 21.00-02.00. For those who register on the Facebook guestlist, the cost is €10, otherwise €15 on the door.
