What to do in Rome in August 2018

1 Aug. Bring some friends to the Summer Beer Garden at Manforte for fresh air, music, food and beer.
2 Aug. Use your WiR card for a reduced ticket to a showing at L’Isola del Cinema on Tiber Island.
3 Aug. Teatro dell’Opera di Roma presents the ballet Romeo & Juliet at the Caracalla Festival. WiR cardholders receive a 10 per cent discount on tickets.

6 Aug. Immerse yourself in the waterfall garden beside the lake at EUR, known as Giardino delle Cascate.

8 Aug. Tour the Passetto di Borgo, an 800m-long escape route linking the Vatican to Castel S. Angelo.

12 Aug. The six-night reggae and dancehall festival Nemi Lake Reggae Camp continues at El Castillô.

26 Aug. Entry to the Vatican Museums is free today, between 09.00 and 12.30, leaving by 14.00.
