3-5 July. Conducted by Reynaldo Hahn, directed by Pier Luigi Pizzi, with Gheorghe Iancu.
Mozart is a musical comedy written in 1925 and staged for the first time in Paris and then in New York, Montreal and Boston, but never in Italy. It is the theatrical adaption of a fanciful and erudite idea: to pair the Parisian salons of the 19th century frequented by Guitry and Hahn and those frequented by Mozart during his stay in 1778. Direction, scenery and costumes come courtesy of Pier Luigi Pizzi, with choreography by Gheorghe Iancu and James Conlon conducting. Paolo Di Nicola
