With the subheading L’Arte Aborigena Australiana incontra de Chirico, this exhibition presents more than 50 works by some of Australia's most important Aborigine artists.

The paintings on show were created mainly since the 1990s and reflect the diversity of styles and schools of art from central and western Australia.

The exhibition plays on the fact that the Museo Carlo Bilotti houses 18 works by the Italian exponent of Metaphysical art Giorgio de Chirico, whose paintings are displayed among those of the Aborigine artists.

Most of the works in the exhibition come from a private French collection.
