Tired from last week? Don’t relax too much, this week is gonna be epic also, especially for Rock in Rome festival but also for the IPM festival (International Promoter Meetings).

Wednesday

One of the most popular british bands nowadays (four albums published, all in top of the charts worldwide) Arctic Monkeys will play for Rock in Rome festival promoting the forthcoming LP already announced but not published yet. They will be introduced by The Vaccines and Miles Kane.

Thursday

Bruce Springsteen is ready to warm up your Thursday night playing with The E Street Band again at Capannelle. His recent show in Naples was a blast, more than two hours full of energy as only ‘The Boss’ is able to do.

IPM Festival will start tonight the weekend with three events in three different locations: Radisson Blue Hotel rooftop (7pm-12am), Il Bosco Delle Fragole nightclub (11pm-4am) and Gay Village (11 pm-4am).

DJ Red and London FM will play at La Bibliotechina in the beautiful Parco Herbario location starting from 8 pm (free entry).

Friday

Morcheeba are ready to play ‘Rome wasn’t built in a day’ at Centrale Live (Foro Italico) promoting their new album that will come out next October.

IPM Festival also on Friday presents three events, the most interesting one at Macro-La Pelanda (7pm-till late) organized by L-Ektrica and Alchemy crews; the other two events will be at Gay Village (11pm-4am) and Radio Londra (00:30am-6am).

Sporting Club Andrea Doria will hosts American duo Benoit & Sergio (DFA Records, Visionquest) and their tech-house and electro-pop DJ set.

Another American DJ (Tony Humphries) will propose his house music at La Bibliotechina.

Saturday

Rock in Rome hosts another rock legend ex leader of Dire Straits, Mark Knopfler who is touring to promote his new work Privateering, out next September.

Magic Fest Summer Edition  is a 1-day festival happening at Magic Land entertainment center in Valmontone, few km out of Rome. Six stages and many DJs performing, starting from the afternoon. Guest stars will be Bob Sinclair, Satoshie Tomie, Stacey Pullen and Gigi D’Agostino.

IPM Festival will give its best tonight. During the afternoon (1pm-8pm) you can go to La Rambla beach (Maccarese) to listen many DJs (among them, American DJ Tony Humphries). At night Panorama Bar (Gianicolo hill; 10:30pm-2am) another event with 5 DJs alternating and at Gay Village (11pm-4am) 3 other DJs performing. But the best is gonna happen at Spazio 900 (10:30 pm-til late) with, among several DJs playing, Danish Trentemøller (Audiomatique Recordings) with his sophisticated and unique electro.

Rebel Rebel night at Andrea Doria Sporting Club presents from UK Space Dimension Controller (R&S Records) introduced by the italian Carola Pisaturo (This and That).

Sunday

IPM Festival close this amazing edition with a daily pool party at Sheraton Golf Hotel (11am-9pm) with 11 DJs and a night party (10:30pm-3:30am) at La Bibliotechina  with 9 DJs.

If you feel more rock, The Smashing Pumpkins will play songs from their amazing last work ‘Oceania’ but also old hits at Rock in Rome festival (guest star will be Mark Lanegan).
