Streets in Rome’s historic centre reopen to traffic
Corso Rinascimento, which runs parallel to Piazza Navona in front of the Italian senate, the upper house of parliament, reopened to traffic on 5 September after being closed for construction works from the beginning of July.
The works were carried out were between Piazza delle Cinque Lune and Piazza S. Andrea della Valle.
Also in the historic centre, Via dei Prefetti near the chamber of deputies has reopened to traffic after the installation of new cobblestones and work on underground drains.
