Rome taxis second worst in Europe
Rome's taxis are expensive and the taxi drivers are aggressive, do not respect speed limits, break the traffic lights and take long detours off the requested route. This is according to the EuroTEST report undertaken by 22 European automobile clubs, including the Automobile Club d'Italia (ACI). The report ranked Roman taxis as second worst out of 22 large European cities.
