Jhumpa Lahiri at John Cabot

The Institute for Creative Writing and Literary Translation at Rome's John Cabot University presents two readings by Writer in Residence Jhumpa Lahiri.

The first reading by the award-winning writer takes place at John Cabot University on Thursday 20 June but due to popular demand there are no longer any seats left.

However there are still some places left the following evening, Friday 21 June at 19.30, at La Sala Grande in S. Lorenzo in Miranda at the Roman Forum where Lahiri will read from her current and past writings.

The Rhode Island-based writer has won numerous accolades for her work, not least of all the Pulitzer Prize in 2000 for her debut story collection "Interpreter of Maladies".

The event at the  Roman Forum is free but it is necessary to RSVP by emailing cwinstitute@johncabot.edu or via Eventbrite.

Photo ID is required to attend.
