A collection of archaeological material from the museum collection together with photographic documentation of the activity of the Italian archaeological mission in the ancient city of Nisa in Turkmenistan between 2000 and 2006. Nisa is described by some as one of the first capitals of the Parthians, and it was reputedly the necropolis of the Parthian kings. The city was totally destroyed by an earthquake during the first decade BC.
