Festival di Cremona Claudio Monteverdi.
19 May-3 June 2004. Monteverdi, his era and the influence he exerted on music and musicians are the focal points of this charming festival in the beautiful Teatro Ponchielli and in various picturesque venues scattered around the city. The programme, as usual, offers high quality events, with the participation of The Tallis Scholars conducted by Peter Philips (28 May), the Ensemble Florilegium conducted by Ashley Solomon (30 May), the Concerto Italiano led by Rinaldo Alessandrini (3 June) as well as many others.
