21 Oct-6 Jan 2009. The exhibition tells the story of the Etruscan civilization in Lazio and the development of its main urban centres: Veii, Cerveteri, Vulci and Tarquinia. The second part of the exhibition illustrates the ties between these ancient cities and Rome itself, highlighting the huge influence that the Etruscan civilisation had on the Roman world. The individual character of these four cities is illustrated by a selection of some of the most important works of art from each site.
