17 Feb-24 March 2006. Portraits of Ethiopian women by Paola Viesi are on show at the Vittoriano in Rome as part of the exhibition Solidariet e Sviluppo. Limpegno della cooperazione italiana nel mondo organised by the Italian department for development cooperation to celebrate its activities over the years. Photographer Viesi is based in Ethiopia, where she works for the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organisation (UNESCO) promoting the countrys eight world heritage sites. Admission free. Mon-Thurs 09.30-19.30, Fri and Sat 09.30-23.30, Sun 09.30-20.30.
