Women protest in Rome
On Sunday 13 February 2011 demonstrations appealing for greater dignity for Italian women are scheduled to take place in Rome and at least 60 other Italian cities.
Led by the national women's movement known as Se non ora Quando (If not now when), which takes its name with the 1984 novel by Primo Levi, a growing list of high profile personalities have added their voices to the campaign such as Rosy Bindi, Concita De Gregorio, Miuccia Prada, Franca Rame, Dacia Maraini, Sabina Guzzanti and Lidia Ravera.
The demonstration in Rome begins with a flash mob performance at 14.00 at Villa Borghese
