There will be disruptions to traffic flow along Via Appia Nuova leading southeast out of Rome in August while repair work on a railway bridge near the Capannelle race course is carried out. From midday on 3 August until 13 August the road will be closed to traffic in the direction of the city centre along the stretch between Via Bisignano and Via Pizzo di Calabria; vehicles travelling into town will be rerouted along Via delle Capanelle and then Via del Calice or Via Tuscolana. As of 14 August the same stretch of the Via Appia Nuova will be closed to traffic in both directions; vehicles heading out of town will be directed along Via S.
