Screens to show the funeral in 11 Rome squares.
Pilgrims and Romans will be able to watch the funeral rite of Pope John Paul II on large screens in at least 11 locations in the city: S. Maria Maggiore, S. Giovanni in Laterano, S. Paolo, Tor Vergata, Circo Massimo, Piazza del Popolo, Piazza Navona, Stadio Olimpico, Corso Rinascimento, Piazza Cavour and Piazza Risorgimento. All roads will be closed to private traffic excluding motorcycles and scooters on Friday from 02.00 to 18.00. Schools and public offices with the exception of a few city council offices will remain closed.
