The Luncheon Club of Rome is a long-standing association set up many years ago, in the 1950s, for the purpose of promoting friendship among British and Commonwealth women.

Membership was originally limited to nationals of the United Kingdom and the Commonwealth but was subsequently expanded to include women from other English-language countries.

Nationals of other countries, such as the United States, Ireland, Italy, have joined as associate members. Our members, from different walks of life and backgrounds, make for a warm, friendly group and many strong friendships have been forged over the years.

Cultural events/visits, followed by an optional lunch, are arranged on Wednesdays, once or twice a month, from October through June. These events might include exhibitions, visits to famous gardens or archeological sites, or talks on a range of interesting subjects.
