Taormina. 13 June-23 Aug. At the heart of the little town of Taormina, on the top of a hill overlooking the Mediterranean, is a beautiful Greek theatre built in the 3rd century BC. For the past 55 years, every summer it has come to life with an intense programme of theatre, dance, cinema and music. This year the calendar of events is mixed and uneven.
