16 Nov-31 Jan 2005. This exhibition at the Museu dHistria de Catalunya chronicles the friendship between Catalan painter Salvador Dal and Andalusian poet Federico Garca Lorca during the 1920s. Part of the Year of Dal exhibitions, moves the focus away Dals best known works choosing instead to features those which characterise the relationship between two of Spains principle twentieth century cultural icons. These include numerous original drawings and paintings as well as original correspondence between the two. The exhibition does not explore the reasons for the end of their friendship ended
