Orvieto. Umbria Jazz Winter #17
30 Dec-3 Jan 2010. The pretty hilltop town of Orvieto is host to the 17th edition of the winter section of the famous Umbria Jazz festival. It only lasts five days, but the programme fills auditoriums, historic buildings, squares, night clubs, wine bars and even restaurants with jazz from afternoon until well after midnight. As always it is a star-studded programme featuring such names as Bill Frisell, John Scofield, John Clayton, Renato Sellani, The Rosenberg Trio, Jim Hall, Enrico Rava, Gianluigi Trovesi and lots of Gospel music.
