1 Dec-31 Jan 2011. Luca Pignatelli was born in Milan in 1962, a city where he still lives and works. His style is described by art critics as a sort of visionary realism, which draws its inspiration directly from memory. In 2003, as a result of other exhibitions and awards, Pignatelli was chosen to be among the artists included in the exhibition "The new Italian art scene" at the Venice Biennale where he was featured again in 2009. Today, after a series of successful showings in Florence, Nice, Naples and New York, he is considered one of the most interesting artistic personalities in Italy.
