Hard Rock Cafe celebrates 45 years
14 June. The Hard Rock Cafe, which first opened its doors in central London in 1971 before expanding with restaurants worldwide, celebrates its 45th birthday on 14 June.
To mark this milestone, Rome's Hard Rock Cafe on Via Veneto presents a day of festivities, including special menus, birthday cake, the greatest hits of the 1970s with DJ Aimé, and a hippy-style minibus for a unique photo opportunity.
