17 June-31 Aug 2005. At its 83rd edition, this is probably Italys most famous summer festival with its usual line-up of popular operas in the spectacular setting provided by Veronas grandiose open-air Roman arena. The operas this year are La Gioconda, Nabucco, Aida, La Bohme and Turandot.
