Solar energy for the Vatican.
The Vatican has announced its new solar energy project which will see the cement panels on the roof of the Paul VI audience hall replaced with photovoltaic cells to convert sunlight into electricity.
The solar power system will be installed next year and will consist of more than a 1,000 solar panels, creating enough electricity to heat, cool and light the building all year round according to Pier Carolo Cuscianna, head of the Vatican
