Heat wave continues.
Rome is experiencing record temperatures, with thermometers registering over 37 degrees in the past few days nine degrees over the seasonal average of 28 degrees. Humidity is also high, reaching 91 per cent even in the evenings at 21.00. Built-up areas are the worse hit, with asphalt and smog adding 3 degrees to already high temperatures. However, meteorological experts are warning that there will be a further rise in temperatures over the next few days, with conditions only letting up towards the end of the week.
