21 Feb-10 Apr 2008. The exhibition includes works by Kounellis, Nunzio, Pascali, Pizzi Cannella, Tirelli.

Scialoja was an Italian abstract expressionist who taught at the Accademia delle Belle Arti in Rome. Through the years the lively and knowledgeable painter, who also wrote mellifluos and witty poetry, was a great stimulating presence on the Roman art scene.

You are still astonished when the most disparate contemporaries tell you they have been under his tutelage. A great untamed master usually is too self-involved to let his secrets go, but a generous sociable artist can be remarkable in bringing out the best in his pupils.

The usually inarticulate younger sculptor Nunzio hits the nail right on the head in the handsome catalogue:
