Zerocalcare: Digging Ditches - Feeding Crocodiles at MAXXI in Rome.
10 Nov-31 March. MAXXI presents the works of Michele Rech, better known as Zerocalcare, an internationally-celebrated Italian comic artist linked to the underground scene and described as a "spokesperson of the 1990s generation."
Under the title Digging Ditches - Feeding Crocodiles, the exhibition traces the artist's career and is divided into three central themes: Pop and Tribe, Resistance and Politics, Non-Reportage.
On display are posters, illustrations, record covers, original illustrated pages from his nine books, and a site-specific work designed by the artist specially for MAXXI.
