Until 9 April 2005. This English-language production of Frederick Knotts 1964 play Wait Until Dark running at the Vienna International Theatre, was made famous by the film starring Audrey Hepburn. The story is a nail-biting thriller about a young blind woman, played by actress Laura Mitchell, forced to pit her wits against those of a merciless psychotic killer in order to survive. The tension builds throughout with the each scene merely adding to the suspense, accentuated by the intimacy of the theatre building itself, until it ends in a violent and explosive final act. This production was produced by Don Fenner. Tickets cost from 20, 22, and 11 for students.
