12-28 April. Rome-based artist Elisabetta Pirisi presents an exhibition of paintings which convey different levels of communication: visual, psychological and sensorial.
Titled Suggestioni, the show takes place at Teatro S. Genesio from 12-28 April, and is part of the seventh edition of the philanthropic Vitala Festival of cultural events.
Organisers describe Pirisi's work: "Every brushstroke, every overlapping colour is the search for a feeling, an emotion, a memory hidden in the depth of the soul."
A graduate of the Academy of Fine Arts in Rome, Pirisi has collaborated in the creation of stage sets, graphic projects and trompe l'oeil as well as participating in numerous national and international exhibitions of contemporary art, graphics and sacred art.
The show opens on Friday 12 April, from 17.30-20.00. Admission is free and the inauguration will be accompanied by refreshments. For full details see Facebook event page.
