9-25 July 2004. This is one of the most original events of the Estate Romana and is entirely dedicated to the Portuguese culture of the Mediterranean. An absolute novelty is represented by the musical opera, A maior flor do mundo, inspired by the Jos Saramago story (25 July). Other appointments are those with guitarist Jorge Tuna (12 July), fado concerts by Carlos do Carmo (14 July) and by Ana Moura (15 July), and the rhythm of the batuke by Tcheka from the Cape Verde Islands (18 July). The programme also includes literary and poetry evenings.
