11-20 Oct. Romaeuropa Festival presents the Italian premiere of The Prisoner, the latest creation by celebrated British playwright Peter Brook, at Teatro Vittoria in the Testaccio district of Rome, from 11-20 October. The play, which revolves around a man sitting alone in front of a giant prison in the desert, examines questions of redemption and asks what justice means "in a world where prisoners and guards face each other with the same questions." The production will be staged in English with Italian surtitles. For details see website.
