Project Rome is holding two fundraising events in April with proceeds going towards its mission to help feed Rome's homeless.
On 12 April an Italian theatre group is performing a benefit production entitled Una Situazione Complicata, at the Crowne Plaza Rome, Via Antica Aurelia. The play, a comedy face, is described as easy to follow for those whose Italian is not so good. There is an opportunity to pre-book an aperocena from 19.45, or turn up in time for the performance at 21.00. Tickets are €12 or with aperocena €25.
On 23 April there is The Big Kick, a football tournament and family fun day, featuring 5-a-side football teams from across Rome. There are numerous sides from pubs and universities, as well as a team of lawyers and a homeless men’s team.
Organisers are hoping to attract a large amount of teams and supporters for a day of football, barbecue food and beer. The event takes place from midday until 17.00 at Circolo Stella Azzurra, Via dei Cocchieri 11, 00146 Rome.
