Down in the Valley (US). Dir. David Jacobson, starring Edward Norton and Evan Rachel Wood. Intense love story between an older cowboy and a 17-year-old rebel misunderstood by her family who gradually realizes she is out of her depth.
Grido (It). Dir. Pippo Delbono. Documentary in the form of an autobiographical voyage through the memories of Pippo Delbono, one of the most important contemporary theatre directors and actors.

Neil Young: Heart of Gold (US). Dir. Jonathan Demme. Documentary recording a concert in Nashville in 2005 by the great country rock star, who has been recovering from an aneurism that struck him shortly before the performance.
The Hoax LImbroglio (US). Dir. Lasse Hallstrm, starring Richard Gere and Hope Davis. Gere plays Clifford Irving, famous for writing a false biography of millionaire playboy and aviator Howard Hughes in the 1970s and going to jail for it.
