17 May-25 Nov. The prestigious Accademia Nazionale di S. Luca presents a retrospective of the work of Luigi Ontani, considered one of Italy's most innovative contemporary artists.
The exhibition comprises 60 works, ranging from large performance photographs of the early 1970s to his distinctive ceramic sculptures.
Since the late 1960s Ontani has experimented with an array of media to explore historical, allegorical and mythological themes, and in 2011 his Lapsus Lupus featured on a Wanted in Rome cover.
