2-13 May 2005. This is the fifth edition of Pariss Saint Germain des Prs festival, which this year provides the perfect setting for gathering together some of jazz's finest artists: Lars Danielsson, Xavier Desandre-Navarre, Manu Katch, Michel Legrand, Caecilie Norby, Rhoda Scott, Bobo Stenson, Jacky Terrasson, and the Golden Gate Quartet among many others. There will be an ample choice of things to do, see and listen to including concerts in small jazz clubs, photography and art exhibitions, movies, an electro-jazz night with DJs and live performances, a piano evening, a Big Band dance with Glenn MiIller-style swing. In the first two weeks of May, Paris becomes the other capital of jazz.
