The Valentina Bonomo gallery presents an exhibition of new "Walking Studios" series by Julian Opie. The English artist uses digital technology to portray mosaic-like images of people engaged in everyday acts, such as walking or texting, in a distinctive style that is both minimalist and stylised. Opie is a member of the New British Sculpture movement which examines "the decaying UK urban environment and the waste of consumer society" by incorporating a synthesis of pop, kitsch, assemblage, colour and humour into his art.
