Each evening over the summer this quality film festival lights up the Isola Tiberina in the middle of the river Tiber. Now in its 19th edition, this year's festival has a special focus on the role of women in European filmmaking, as well as a section dedicated to contemporary Italian cinema and a chance to revisit selected highlights of last season's films distributed by Universal Pictures. The multi-faceted festival includes numerous encounters and discussions with important figures from the film world on the topics of the environment and solidarity.
