This exhibition at Palazzo Sciarra features a selection of the most important works venerating the Neapolitan S. Gennaro, commissioned over the centuries by popes, emperors, European kings and the faithful of Naples. Goldsmiths created the treasures using a enormous amount of precious stones including diamonds, emeralds and rubies. The artefacts are displayed for the first time outside the Museo di S. Gennaro in Naples, and the exhibition is accompanied by a series of conferences and activities for children. Palazzo Sciarra, Via Marco Minghetti 22, (corner Via del Corso), tel. 06697645599, www.fondazioneromamuseo.it.
