Giacomo Favretto.
24 April-11 July 2010. Paintings by Giacomo Fravetto and other the 19th-century Venetian artists. Fravetto was born in the middle of the 19th century, son of a Venetian carpenter. He had already distinguished himself by the time he was in his mid-20s, focusing mainly on the outdoor daily life of ordinary Venetians in his paintings, which was unusual for the time. He died of typhoid aged 38, at the height of his success at the Venice Exhibition of 1887.
