Festival Euro Mediterraneo.
3 July-6 Aug 2004. This ambitious festival starts with a concert conducted by Lorin Maazel; then the varied calendar continues with a Duke Ellington Gala by the Steve Coleman Tentet (7 July), and then a dance evening with the Compania de Flamenco Joaquin Ruiz in Noche Flamenca: Mar de Tierras (10 July). The festival takes place in the wonderful archaeological site of Hadrians Villa in Tivoli, except for the final event, a tango evening, at Romes Stadio del Tennis.
