1 June-31 August 2005. Now in its seventh year, Diversions is a free, outdoor festival of films, visual arts, live shows, family fun and markets. Held around Meeting House Square, the heart of Dublin's Cultural Quarter, this year's programme features Temple Bar Open Day, Dublins largest one-day gathering of arts and cultural activities, on 19th June. This includes a Treasure Hunt, taking you through the streets, buildings and public spaces of Temple Bar, along with a feast of performances and unexpected delights. Another major event, Live on the Square features a special programme of live events with classical music, theatre, film and new productions in new locations. Admission is free.
