Weekend closure to allow for testing on Rome's third metro line.
The entire Metro C line will be closed for testing during the weekend of 9-10 September.
The closure will also facilitate works on the line's S. Giovanni station ahead of its scheduled opening this autumn.
The S. Giovanni station will be crucial to the capital’s overall underground network as it will connect the driverless 18-km Metro C line with Metro A and the central Termini station.
