Rome reduces public transport strike on 6 July

24-hour strike called off but four-hour strike to go ahead for 6 July.

A 24-hour strike by Rome's public transport company ATAC and the city's suburban bus network Roma TPL, originally programmed on Friday 6 July, has been called off.

However a separate four-hour strike by ATAC employees remains scheduled on 6 July from 08.30 until 12.30.

The action will affect Rome’s buses, trams, metro and light rail services Roma-Lido, Roma-Viterbo and Termini-Centocelle.
