Rome cancels tender for Ara Pacis underpass
The city of Rome has cancelled the tender for the controversial underpass and multi-storey car park along the Lungotevere in Augusta near the Ara Pacis museum complex.
The decision was taken on the grounds that none of the schemes presented complied with the brief outlined by municipal authorities, in particular the fact that all designs made provision for the car park
