William Kentridge and Tevereterno at Teatro Valle in Rome
19 Sept-20 Oct. Rome's Teatro Valle celebrates Triumphs and Laments, the colossal site-specific work created by William Kentridge along the banks of the river Tiber, three years after its inauguration.
The exhibition also presents the Beyond Triumphs and Laments project, a new work to be realised on the Tiber banks, with the same technique and on the same theme, but with new artists and new visions.
The show is open, with free admission, on Thursday, Friday and Saturday from 17.00-20.00 and Sundays from 11.00-18.00. For insights into the story of the 550-m frieze see Wanted in Rome feature article.
